The funny thing is a very basic Moving Average trading system would probably outperform most of these TST people over the long term. The OP should just focus on getting a higher paying day job. If you can't make good money working a regular job then what the hell makes you think you can make it in the toughest most competitive markets around?

I always find it funny when members here jump on someone who shows they are struggling (and in this case, we don't even know yet what his update is), but at the same time, show nothing of their own trading. I have actually tried to go back through a bunch of your posts and haven't come up with anything that would give me any sense of what you're doing, or of how you're doing. In this light, I find it to be in poor taste to go on suggesting that he should find a real job and hope his backer didn't lose too much.

Back when I was still trying to learn, I thought that ET would provide lots of views from experienced and knowledgeable traders. The truth of the matter is, the struggling trader is probably not doing nearly as bad as he thinks he is in light of the fact that most of what is posted here is utter and fake bullshit. The guy posting that he is struggling might not be doing well, but he doesn't realize that 90% of the advice thrown at him is from someone who isn't being very helpful, isn't even trading, or has more than likely failed himself.

There's a few others that decided not to post updates at this forum for whatever reasons and decided to post elsewhere without the crap that drove them away...they are the sensitive types when any criticism is mudslinged their way but they are not at fault for leaving this place.

Simply, unless you know him personally outside of the internet...any thing is possible about the lack of updates.

I agree with you. Not to get off topic here but would you happen to know the screen names of a few of the people that disappeared here? There were a few people on this site that had the word "Old" in their screen names. They have gone "missing". Now an easy assumption would be that they are "old" and maybe had a health issue.

Let me give you a personal example, I blew up an account over 5 years ago then I went "missing" for awhile.

I could say the same about you actually, do you even have a single public post predicting anything in the future trading wise? You don't have any of your own threads do you? Everything of yours is a response to someone else's opinion. Do you have your own original opinions or threads on anything? I even had a journal where I paper traded deep in the money options to test a new system. Care to share with us any of these threads of yours? All I see from you is weak responses to other people who have bold opinions. You are weak sauce buddy as well as unoriginal....
