The OP still logs onto this site but he has not posted anything for about a month. The OP seems like a nice person but my guess is he has lost the money his backer gave him or the backer has taken their money back. I am sure if he was doing good then he would be sharing that info here.
The funny thing is a very basic Moving Average trading system would probably outperform most of these TST people over the long term. The OP should just focus on getting a higher paying day job. If you can't make good money working a regular job then what the hell makes you think you can make it in the toughest most competitive markets around?
Don't let your dreams die but at the same time you needed a dose of reality.....I hope the backer didn't lose too much.....
Just because he's not posting as much does not mean he lost his backers money, what proof do you have to come to this conclusion????
Did you miss the part where I said "my guess is he lost the money". It is a guess not an accusation. Usually when people go missing on this site it means they blew up their account.
Also, his very last post over a month ago says "Thanks for the well-wishes. I'll definitely keep everyone updated!"....where are the updates????
Actually I know a number of people who have stopped posting because they are tired of the BS or just simply refocusing.
That could be the reason. I don't know the guy personally and maybe he did want to get away from this site so he could focus.
I just figured that with his last post being "Thanks for the well-wishes. I'll definitely keep everyone updated!" that he would update us. Why make that promise and then later decide that "there is too much BS, I can't post anymore"???? The other odd thing is that if this site is taking away from his "focus" then why does he keep logging onto this site? You don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to check his profile and see the last time he logged on.
Hey JamesEM, how about an update for everyone here please like you originally promised. Don't feel bad if you blew up your account. I have blown up accounts myself in the past. It happens, pain is part of this game.
Maybe you didn't even blow up, maybe you lost just a little money and the backer immediately got scared and wanted all of their money back. Whatever your reasons are don't give up, just set your expectations more inline with reality in the future. Let everyone here know that you are alright.

There's some well known ET members that died or had serious illness or had serious injuries (e.g. car accident) that prevents them from posting here or anywhere else online...they didn't blow up their trading account.
There's a few others that decided not to post updates at this forum for whatever reasons and decided to post elsewhere without the crap that drove them away...they are the sensitive types when any criticism is mudslinged their way but they are not at fault for leaving this place.
Simply, unless you know him personally outside of the internet...any thing is possible about the lack of updates.
Lets just hope he's safe and in good health.
