So your celebration is too early because passing the combine itself is meaningless. (it is similar to celebrating a job interview) Let us know when you get your 2nd or 3rd paycheck from them. That will mean something...

Many congratulations, James. Most interesting. Very pleased to have found your blog, now, which I'll doubtless be devouring (don't worry: I won't leave tooth-marks on it.)
Wishing you all the best of skill, care and luck for the FTP - which of course has a much lower profit-target than the Combine, and you'll do fine with it.![]()
. Yes the PT is lower but there is the added pressure of staying above break-even after 10 trading days. I'm on day 12 but now need to ease my way to that $500...haven't got much to work with but I like my chances all the same
I'm not here to prove anything to you. I will celebrate what I please.
I'll do you the favour of informing you of where you've gone wrong, despite your foul mouthThat is one big ass size of pile of bullshit. There are plenty of profitable traders who wouldn't pass the combine, Big Mike is one of them.
!I don't need slaps on my shoulder or attaboys...I came here to share. Besides, there is nothing wrong with celebrating the smaller victories on the way to bigger goals. That's what got me this far in the first place. Not by focusing on the negative.Just letting you know that the cake was early... So don't expect slaps on your shoulder or attaboys....
If Big Mike or any other trader can't make $1500 over any period of time without losing more than $500 in a day or drawing down $1500 overall, wouldn't you say that that trader is unprofitable?? I would.
Depends on the market conditions and their trading style. The past 2 weeks were almost perfect trading conditions, you could've made $10k plus trading a couple of ES contracts between 09/09-13/09
Well done though, I hope it continues for you.
