Why the hell did I read 10 pages deep into this thread... what did I even read?
I can't even tell if anything is serious or.... I just know I feel more stupid now than I did before I started to read.
Maybe I should consider myself fortunate?
Ok so... my turn. Here's me trading ES for tonight. And it's all me, it's all proof of my skillset and winnings, no lies:
You could at least follow the footsteps of Tony Stark. He piggy backed on a few of my trades and made a killing.
You on the other hand, have a trash journal, it lacks detail, clarity, and any sort of logic.
When you trash Paul Tudor Jones and Roaring Kitty, but you idolize Jim Cramer, it says a lot about you.
So Ackman jumped in on NKE, what are you going to do? Ohh thats right, he is another guy you trash.
he is very plain in saying that his books are, for not only a serious trader, but for someone who knows the basics.
i had 15 years as a profitable trader positioning trading, seeing the daily charts, but it took me 20 years to figure out what Brooks was saying.
now i know he is a genius and probably the only one who knows anything about day trading on a 5 min chart.
the problem is his books talk about everything and you have to choose what parts you would to incorporate and so he can and does confuse the hell out of everyone.. it is not easy to understand a genius leave alone apply his techniques.
however if you take the risk of considerable pain , like i went through then it is trading nirvana and market fluctuations become ridiculously easy to decipher. You still need considerable trade management skills and emotional stability to make money and that is why it took me so long to figure it out. we have to put in the effort

OK WC... I'm gonna have to pipe in here. Ackman and Jones... whatever.... but putting Roaring Kitty on some kind of pedestal higher than Cramer... I mean you can hate the guy all you want, I suspect 70% plus of the people here do... but that one in the context you wrote it gets the red flag.
I know know nothing about this Roaring Kitty cat, other than he's gotten lucky af playing the Robin Hood herd... so he does have talent... in something... marketing maybe(?), stock SEO on steroids maybe(?)... hey I admire the guy without knowing boo about him.... but dude.... I don't give a hoot how much money he's made... Cramer has more market wisdom in his pinkie finger than this cat will EVER have.
You can disagree all you want. Call me names, call me a fan-boi, which I'm not, but you know damn well I call things as I see them.... Cramer has an exceptionally high IQ. (that one will garner some mortar fire I'm sure.) But he does. Roaring Kitty is probably sharp as a tack too, but when it comes to WS and how things work... comparing him to Cramer is like comparing a hot shot high school QB to Tom Brady.

The source of the criticism is from Overnight,aka Doug Morthole. The guy has talked trash about me and my trading, he has talked trash about Roaring Kitty, PTJ, Ackman, etc, then it turns out Morthole is a colossally bad trader. It really makes you wonder.
Hey, I hate punching down just as much as the next guy, but on the other side of the equation, this punk shouldnt be able to trash people who are more successful than him, without getting called out.
