Studies have shown that money does buy happiness, up to a point. It's pretty hard to be happy when you are living in poverty or financial uncertainty. Not knowing where your next rent will come from is extremely stressful.

I agree with OP on this matter of quitting.The message may be insulting to others, but I believe the decision to quit is personal, just as the decision to start trading was also personal. I can only advise that if you ever feel like coming back, work on your risk management and trading psychology. Come prepared.
