It has nothing to do with Fibonacci golden ratios, that's the issue. Simply taking the halfway point has nothing to do with Fibonacci. So to call it anything Fibonacci is wrong.

They are without a doubt the most useful thing out there. IF you want to find out for yourself just pull up any chart, daily, weekly, monthly, 2 min. Look for a sharp rally. Draw a fib from the start of the rally to the top. See for yourself how many time price comes back to the 50 - 61.8 area and then continues. Same thing, but reverse for a sell off.
