I agree. I traded over a direct line in Cbot running TT. And I traded at my condo over a Cable feed (back in 01/02). I think it was RCN??? I never saw any difference. These days----you should not be able to tell.

You can always get a T1 or something to your place----if you are making that many trades ---hang a direct line to your broker----it is not that expensive.

But really I never saw a difference ---and still dont----

i was planning getting a desk at the cbot as well, but i wanted fiber to my bedroom for the majority of days where i'd like to just trade in my boxers.
 
Would it be possible to string a line via helicopter from the top of the Ceres statue to that tall condo building at ~700 South Wells on the upper floors facing north?
