Shopster, you seem to be the master of DBs and DTs...nice journal !

I for one have simply too often shorted and bought DTs/DBs only to watch the market continue in its direction.

Seems like with 30+ years of experience, you intuitively know which ones to trade and wich not ?! Or are there other clues ?

I will trade DBs and DTs but only if they occur at significant levels and in alignment with the larger trend.

Furthermore, I look for measured moves within the second leg. They are very powerful.

you must have the zero lag macd aligning with the second leg of the setup.
covered in the thread.

also hidden diverge can be dug out with this indicator to keep you onside.
also in the thread.

you intuitively know after you do a few thousand of 'em....:)
