Quote from shopster:

the trade on the left side was a .76 second leg retrace

the histo is already neg.
a short entry

you lift your short at a fib extension

the trade on the right was a trick question.
there is no confirmation.

glad to see someone is awake.........:)

a question...

On the right of this chart, the last high around 10:00 time.

Is that a valid short signal? Your histo bars are diverged significantly, then they break below the zero line.

Or do you skip that trade because it's a higher high, rather than a DT? Just trying to clarify.

Another question:

On the boxed in area there are 3 lows. You have the third low labelled as a buy, and I have no questions on that.

However, I wonder could the middle low have been a buy as well? It's not quite a DB but very close, and the histo bars were diverged and then crossed above the zero line.

So would that be a long that was stopped out, and then re-enter long on the next low? Or would that long not have been taken for some reason? Again just trying to clarify.

S: last couple charts I'm not seeing any RadsT3; why did you eliminate the Rads indicator?? Was it throwing out mixed signals??

In real-time, yes. In hindsight, no. :)

scale your chart with the fib tool on it

horiz. or vert. scale ............pushed or pulled

Good morning shopster,

thank you, that is indeed very interesting.

My "respect" to you magic numbers traders.

When i look at your charts there, i see the same moves i would trade, but with a tottaly differnet understanding when it comes to the strategy for predicting.

Isnt that super cool, every trader uses different systems, but in the end, we all trade just one market - one price move, just with different points of views.

I love it.

good trading boys:) :)

DV,

you are correct.

the second low is a .76 retrace
and is a trade.

i will post some other deviations and tricks of this setup, but for now " concentrate on DB and DT....."

your stop is below all 3 legs.

3 to a bottom is even better than 2 and i will discuss this further.

the hard part is getting the position on.

the market may have other ideas as it gyrates.
