The bars on your chart aren't true range bars, if that is what you are trying to achieve. Bar charts have no gaps in their construction.

Following on from my above comment regarding range bars. As you no doubt know, markets love to fill gaps. In my experience, FX is definitely no exception. How do you discount the threat of a gap fill when you are unaware of where gaps exist?

Or is the proof just in the pudding :)

Nice eur/usd shorts, looks a good run for more looking at the fibs would you agree. I honestly don't think I could without these patterns, I am also keeping an eye on a daily fractal forming!

the original range bar dev. was defined with gaps .

some of us have closed up our code to eliminate them.

a much smoother ride.

the stop is a function of my account equity max . % risk.

money management

if you read the trade setup correctly, your stop should not enter into the fray.
