Say what? Midterms are a referendum on the president. What I am seeing is actually that white voters under 30 is where the democrats made gains.

Ok, that's kinda what I mean. I think we're saying the same thing. The truths in this election are more local and less national. That's kinda why I'm saying articles that shout whether R's got beat up or D's did are silly, as they're just cheerleading.
It's possible, especially with Roe v. Wade. Fetterman was a good candidate before the stroke. I think the dressing/acting like a regular guy sells well.
