There is no progress to be made because there is no desire to have an "honest debate" about any of the cultural issues. From time to time, we see a brave individual (most recently Charles Barkley) tackle some of these uncomfortable truths in a very honest and straightforward manner...and what happens?

Fellow blacks throw him under the bus, call him a traitor to his race and the liberal asshats around here completely disregard his opinions.
 
Most of these blacks wouldn't even exist if we didn't pay their way, same as cows. I never ask cows for their opinions for the same reason I never watch MSNBC.
 
Those thugs in the video are likely mainly dropouts, high probability they deal drugs or engage in other illegal activities. Anyone that listens to what they said clearly can see an uneducated woe is me I'm downtrodden and can't get a fair shot in life and it's whitey's fault. Well ... had they stayed in school maybe they'd have a different perspective. I detest that my tax dollars go to thugs like this.
