Federal Judge in Hawaii blocks Trump's second travel ban...

I don't care about Maddow teasing it out. I don't watch MSNBC. I don't see the debacle part as it relates to the return itself. And if it's all so swell, then what prevents The Donald from full disclosure over a suitable number of years? Modesty?

I like just shutting it all down better

Close the border 100% tight, 5-years or so! No immigrants from anywhere. If you don't have a US passport or a green card, can't cross the border. Period!

If someone has their feelings hurt, too bad. If they don't like that, LEAVE.

America First on American soil!

Better yet, lock yourself in your house and don't leave. And if you have a cellar, you can double down.

The judge seemed to be basing his determination on First Amendment, ie Free Exercise clause, grounds concerning the imam. But no is interfering with his free exercise. You could argue that his mother in law's free exercise was infringed, but she is neither a citizen nor in the country. She lacks any rights under the US Constitution. The opinion is an exercise in ignoring that central fact.

The same analysis applies to the state's claim. It is claiming to be hurt in tourism and business by these bans, but it bases that harm upon the constitutional rights of nonresident foreigners. No business or university had any of its own rights infringed. They just claimed that the fact that some foreigners were being discriminated against gave them standing to sue.

The effect of this reasoning is to grant nonresident foreigners rights under the Constitution that are equivalent to citizens.

There is more judicial tyranny to warn you about. The latest - Judge Derrick Watson of Hawaii - he blocked President Trump's temporary immigration ban. The president called Judge Watson's decision unprecedented judicial overreach. Critics say it's a ban on Muslims. But that's not true. It's a ban on refugees from countries infested with jihadists. What in the name of Don Ho is wrong with these people? Judge Watson's decision puts all of us in grave danger. Attorney General Jeff Sessions says around three hundred of the FBI's active domestic terror investigations involve people who came here as refugees.
