I've said this before many times in other threads. The traders that do the best over time, trade the market they have in front of them and not the one they want or expect. I can tell you with certainty that at some point in the future, we will have a correction, crash or mini crash, but it would be guessing to say that it would be 1 week, 1 month,1 year or next decade.
I'm not smart enough to guess and I expect most of us can't.

I like that line a lot. I'ma stealing it. Sorry Mr. Morse.
I laugh every time someone calls me Mr. Morse. Back when I was a member of the Amex, a specialist clerk insisted on calling me Mr. Morse. I was only 30 to 35 years old at the time and he was 22. He insisted it was a sign of respect as I was older! The Mr. Morse stuck and the others in my crowd continued to call me that, even to this day! He looked at me in my 30s as old. Crap, now I'm 56!

Thats won of the achievements a man can be most proud of.Just call me Grandpa.
Agree very much of what you've said...I'm in and out every day in the futures markets! I also hold long term investments...macro plays...heavily in gold, silver, miners, agriculture, and energy. So, I like to entertain possibly scenarios in the future, part of that is probability of doom and gloom playing out...my positions are set...any discussion is just for fun.I've said this before many times in other threads.
