Yeah I remember when I first started in this business in 1989. We got these big charts every month from the Fed. and had to figure out what they meant. I will blame Greenspan, for making the Fed Chairman position a media spokesman, now it is a joke.

Can anyone tell me what caused the spike and why that would never happen presently. (of course besides inflation, debt, credit bubble)? Bernanke would never do it of course....
