FED Funds Rate and Stock Markets

Data shows for the periods of sequential rising the FED interest rate , stock markets always trend up. However, on the other hand, for the period that the FED lowered the interest rate sequentially, stock markets always trend down. It's kinda against the conventional thinking, so statistically, and historically, raising interest rate is a bullish sign for the markets.

stock markets also go up during the flat-line interest rate.

if you want to stick w/ your conviction, then fine by me. I rather trust the data.

probably, the FED could have tweaked the interest rate data all these years :) no.
