Cutting rates is useless because this is NOT a financial crisis. The banks are not folding, the credit markets are not seized up, commercial paper is not collapsing.....

The virus is causing a shut down of segments of the economy.....Trump is screaming like an idiot to cut rates as though the stock market matters so much and that will easily prop it up.

Rates were already in the basement, how is cutting them to zero going to help the business losing customers who will not travel or go out to public events? It won't.....

Stop defending your government with idoltry and watch and learn how other countries jumped on this with a united government action for testing rather than lie and deny this is an issue.

Trump should stop paying so much attention to the stock market and pretending everything is fine and let the adults run things.

No one cares is DIS goes from $140 to $80 and then recovers by end of the year, they are a company with billiosn in revenues and profits.

Some of you make me wonder....Trump only wants to save the stock market because of the election. Proof? He did not want a cruise ship to dock because it would pad the numbers against him of cases. WTF?

Was sitting here pondering, and realized how we will get the first female POTUS...

The more Trump whines about and tries to "fix the stock market", the more he will kill it, and his campaign. And Biden has the dem nomination. I believe Biden will want a female running mate, because he needs the female vote on his side.

So assuming Trump loses because of the stock market, we will have Biden as Pres with either Klobuchar or Warren or Harris as Vice-Lady.

Because Biden is so bloody old, he'll keel over in his first term and voila'! Instant female POTUS!

Is this thought-experiment valid? hehe.
