The Cboe Volatility Index (a.k.a. VIX a.k.a. the fear gauge) is elevated again. If history is a guide, that could mean stocks will move higher on average. Fortune

we can trade VIX futures.

however, I stopped subscribing to the CBOE data feed as the Vix futures volume was rather low.

There are quite a few financial instruments that have very low volume (worse zero volume).
