This is good news for GMO corporations, they are long profits and cancer and low fertility world wide :D

Evidently, the FDA counts the amount of signatures not by how many people signed, but how many different individual letters are brought to it. To the FDA, even tens of thousands of signatures presented on a single petition are counted as – you guessed it – a single comment. This is how, despite over a million supporters being gathered by the petition, the FDA concluded a count of only 394.

Utter BS. This is crony capitalism. Monsanto + gov't regulators + revolving doors + mainstream medical lobby.

Free market small/organic farmers be damned (and regulated to death).
 
Freedom is responsibility. True free market does not allow harm to individuals nor allow favoritism and corruption. It allows equal chance at success and failure: no bail-outs of financial firms nor individuals.

The individual, the corporation is responsible for its own acts and must pay the consequences of being irresponsible.

The food labeling fight is still going on. I remember it in the '60's, a woman named Ida Honoroff was spearheading a campaign just to get all the bastard people with businesses both small and large to label their products so consumers had some clue about what they were getting! They just want to sell us stuff and not tell us what it is and the FDA will help them to do that!

If Fascism is defined as business and government working together to screw over the little guy then that is what we have.

More government power is not the answer, better quality of government is the answer but that's not going to happen while campaigns are financed by donations and the regulators are in bed with businesses.
 
The FDA are nothing but criminal shills. Fortune 100 own the Government.

There's so much crap in the US food supply, it's mind-boggling. Yet, the rate of cancer has exploded. I'm sure one has nothing to do with the other.
