You read right.
Here's the email I got:
I suggest you click on the official FCC link and read the case.
Grassfire.net has just learned that the Federal Communications
Commission has rejected a complaint against the use of the
F-word on network television!
Even worse, the FCC has opened the door for the use of the
F-word as long as the word is used as an adjective!
(i.e. "This is f------ brilliant!")
This is not an urban legend! See the news stories below.

150,000 Citizens complaints needed

Over the next 30 days, we are urging every Grassfire.net
team member to take immediate action and file a formal
complaint with the FCC.
Take a moment to file your official complaint:

Once we reach 25,000 citizen responses, Grassfire.net will
personally deliver all of our formal complaints directly
to the FCC. Such a delivery will maximize citizen outrage,
and we believe will lead to a quick resolution of this matter!
Thanks for taking action with us.

P.S. Some are still wondering if this is actually true. See the
news links below and read for yourself!
P.P.S. After signing our formal complaint against the FCC,
please send this message to your friends--urging them
to follow your lead.
