FBI/Fusion GPS incest?

"Isn’t it interesting that the Trump Russia convulsion is starting to expose the conversion of the FBI and Department of Justice into an enforcement arm of the Democratic Party? These guys rewrite memos to exculpate Dem politicians and scan every word of a Republican’s phone calls against his answers to FBI agents."

For the last few months, Susan Rice has been out of the spotlight. At some point expect her to return to the spotlight. She was part of the tag team working with Clapper to coordinate the use of the foreign intelligence agencies to coordinate the attacks on Camp Trump. Throw Samantha Powers in to that shit-heap too.

FBI's McCabe 'has an Ohr problem,' will not testify on Tuesday, source says

Does Mueller have proof beyond a reasonable doubt?

Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, who was reportedly scheduled to testify behind closed doors in front of the House Intelligence Committee on Tuesday, will instead meet next week due to a "scheduling error," Department of Justice officials told Fox News.

McCabe’s testimony was likely to, at least in part, focus on Peter Strzok’s role in the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

Strzok is a former deputy to the assistant director at the FBI who was removed from Special Counsel Robert Mueller's staff after Mueller learned Strzok had exchanged anti-Trump texts with a colleague.

House investigators previously told Fox News they have long regarded Strzok as a key figure in the chain of events when the bureau, in 2016, received the infamous anti-Trump “dossier,” which launched a counterintelligence investigation into possible Russian meddling in the election.

“This was a routine scheduling error after the dates were switched on an internal email that we are happy to provide the committee,” a Justice Department official told Fox News. “The FBI regrets the error, and we look forward to making both witnesses (the alleged FBI handler for Christopher Steele and McCabe) available prior to the Christmas recess."

Steele is a former British spy who reportedly compiled a dossier of allegations about President Trump’s ties to Russia.

Fox News was told by those familiar with the matter that the intelligence committee is suspicious of the purported scheduling error. One source said they believe the schedule issue arose after Fox News' report Monday night on Department of Justice official Bruce Ohr.

Ohr was recently demoted from one of his two senior posts. Fox News reported that Ohr’s wife, Nellie Ohr, worked through last fall for Fusion GPS, which was behind the anti-Trump dossier.

The precise nature of Mrs. Ohr’s duties – including whether she worked on the dossier – remains unclear but a review of her published works available online reveals Mrs. Ohr has written extensively on Russia-related subjects.

“McCabe has an Ohr problem,” one congressional source said.

The supposition is that Justice Department officials realized McCabe would face questions about Ohr and he is not prepared to respond.

The committee is prepared to subpoena all Justice Department documents and records related to the scheduling debacle, the source said. The committee is also prepared to subpoena McCabe to compel his testimony later this week.

Some Capitol Hill sources have expressed reservations that McCabe could retire before various congressional investigators get to him.

Fox News' Jake Gibson and James Rosen contributed to this report.

Pretty revealing and a lot of entertainment value in that one sentence.

You know that you are making progress on this fbi rats nest investigation when people are worried that McCabe might have a sudden need to retire.

Not sure what difference it makes. They just send the subpoena over to his house instead. Might even work out better because you would not have Rosenstein trying to kill the subpoena every step of the way.

Probably nothing. The House Oversight Committee just wants him to come by and show slides from his summer vacation, and McCabe is feeling a sudden need to retire.

giggle.

I enjoy a good investigation and I’m not passing judgment on this Ohr stuff, but connecting it to a Clinton/McCabe conspiracy is going to take a lot. Also, the republicans are historically bad at congressional investigations. Let’s be honest the IRS and Benghazi Investigations were an embarrassment to republicans.

Anyway, I say investigate away. This has my attention and I’m interested. Although, I’m not as excited as you guys.

It would be nice to hear someone, anyone was looking into the New York fbi field office and Giuliani.

.

I have no idea why you would say "take a lot."

The fbi was involved in using/furthering information and investigation by fusion/gps which was being funded by the dnc/Clinton factions. Meanwhile it turns out Ohr's wife was also on the inside working for fusion. And all the info being generated was being used as the basis for generating more warrants and investigations against Hillary's political opponent.

Yeh, I am thinking it would take "less than a lot" to uncover some very serious stuff. In fact, already too late to hide it. You would have to be James Comey or Loretta Lynch to not see anything there.

No doubt we are moving into a phase where you would like people to be looking elsewhere.

Not gonna happen.

Why would I care where the keystone cops are investigating. Let Gowdy and Nunes have their fun. I’m not invested one way or the other.

I’m interested in the Russia investigation. Now there’s a real investigation being conducted by serious people.
