Not worried about it. Horowitz has already delivered and moved this thing forward. Most of his report will be/is known by the time it comes out. Wray, for example, said he relied on the IG's finding in regard to moving McCabe along. The IG is the one who outed Strzok, the IG produced the text messages when the FBI said they were gone, and so on.

Actually, we don’t have any statements or reporting from Wray directly. The failing New York Times reported “witnesses” made the connection between the IG and Wray. Not saying it’s not true, just not confirmed.

It’s entirely plausible Wray went to the IG looking for a reason to move McCabe, didn’t get one and decided to move him anyway.

"But I can assure you that I remain staunchly committed to doing this job, in every respect, 'by the book.' I will not be swayed by political or other pressure in my decision making."

That’s out of context and not clear at all. Like I said, we’ll see.

what is bizarre is your take on this.
no one said the funding was illegitimate. I would bet they followed the campaign finance law.


What a person interested in justice is saying is that the $750,000 thousand dollars in funding would either create a bias or the appearance of bias for McCabe.

Therefore McCabe or his supervisor should have taken him off the investigation.

Law enforcement, prosecutors and judges are granted very serious powers over life and liberty. Because they have been vested with such strong tools they are tasked with extra ethical duties. We as a nation in order to avoid gestapo type power... demand people in our justice system keep themselves free of bias as much as possible particularly with respect to the targets of their investigations.

This business is bizarre. If you were someone with a distinguished career and generally regarded by your colleagues as dedicated, hard working and competent, and then someone you didn't know, and who didn't know you, called what you do for a living "phoney", and called one of your friends whom you had high regard for a "leaker", and on top of all of that tried to insinuate, without one shred of evidence, that your wife who was a State politician, was being funded illegitimately in her election campaign, would you think kindly toward that person? Good Lord!, I hope not!

Have we become a become a country where boorish, asinine behavior in our President is acceptable?

In government service you are not only responsible for avoiding conflict of interest but you just as responsible for avoiding the *appearance* of conflict of interest..

How McCabe could have been involved directly in decisions regarding the investigation of the Trump campaign is difficult to understand and its going to be very hard to explain.
