Maybe he can do another interview and start whining about how badly he was treated in Green Bay. He does have a point though. Actually, the reasons he wanted to go to Minn were because they already had a very good team capable of making to a Super Bowl AND he knows their offense like the back of his hand. The language is familiar to him. In NY, he had to learn an entirely new system, in Minn it's the same offense he'd been running for 17 yrs. Plus, he was still playing at a high level before he got hurt last year.
Yes, he's past his prime and old but if he can stay healthy the Vikings are a much better team with him than without him. Also, keep in mind that he gets to play 8 home games indoors, out of the elements which generally are not favorable to aging players.

12 million in year one. for that I'd endure all the ridicule you could throw at me ...and I get to play football and throw to Adrian Peterson who'll make me look great.
Think about it, you have the best running game in the league, defenses will key on AP so that leaves Favre with isolation on the outside. And if they key on the pass, Peterson will be putting up 200 yard games all over the place. Either way, its a winning combo and definitely worth a shot. The window of opportunity is very small in the NFL and when you can piece together a situation like this, you gotta let it fly.

probably something like, I get 12 million bucks to play football at the age of 40 on a team that could, potentially, win the NFC. I have the best running back in the game and I get to play 8 games in perfect weather, in a system that I know like the back of my hand.

What could you even possibly be talking about? I wasn't happy with how he monopolized the NFL news but from a personal standpoint even if he embarasses himself it'll be all the way to the bank.
