favorite guitar solos

Quote from Joe:

...I like Crazy by Seal (the acoustic version) its about 20 seconds in the beginning. Plus I'm a big fan of the flamenco guitar style.
there's a "crazy" version of that song covered by Mushroomhead

Although I don't necessarily agree with their politics, they are still in my top 5 bands of all time. And Tom Morello (who is technically pretty damn good) rocks... hard:

As with this thread, I think a lot of us are comparing apples and oranges. Compare this video to Malmstuck and you'll see what I'm talking about. Nothing against ya JZ.

And killer website by the way. Thanks guys.
i love rage against the machine. i like audioslave too, but i like rage more. the first rage album is one of my favorites ever.

btw, i love the solo in "like a stone" by audioslave.

"Intruder" by Van Halen. (This is the intro that some radio stations play before "Pretty Woman".)

Actually Alex Van Halen is playing drums along with Eddie's guitar, so technically I guess it's not a solo. Still sounds great though.
oddly enough one of my fav EVH solos is the one he did in "beat it" by michael jackson

Little Wing is good.
Cause We've Ended as Lovers by Jeff Beck
from the EVH catalogue I'd pick I'm The One cos it fits the song so beautifully

CURRENTLY BLASTING: "Pain Redefined" by Disturbed

Shaking, burning up with the fever - In the realm of pain, I am the deceiver - Now I lie to myself, so I can believe her - As she disassembles my life

I can not dispel the illusion - All my hopes and dreams are drowned by confusion - Can I find a way to make a solution that will reconfigure my life?

Or here is a 50 mins video showing about 2 dozen less known and well known players, some of them playing 2 guitars at the same time:
