No clear evidence at the time? A new influenza-like disease and not knowing it’s severity, but with indications of novel characteristics should be a hint to most people with minimal intelligence to take protective measures. Many people already associate that wearing a mask around infectious diseases provides protection. As our species evolves, perhaps through survivors learning to wear, take care of, remove, and dispose of masks properly, people will learn to eventually wear eye protection and gloves as well when in higher risk situations.

I know I had the damned thing back in February, it was just a damned harsh flu (<--- which I had not succumbed to for years before this).

I think I know why I survived it so easily.

Because when I was a tot, I licked dirt, ate bugs, and stuck my fingers in my eyes and nose more times than can be counted. When I was a young lad, I used to love eating raw ground chuck when grandma was making homemade meatballs.

You get all these germs in your system when you are young, you build up a strong immuno-defense system.

So basically, eat some raw ground round with a dirt rub on a regular basis. You'll be right-as-rain.

I'd like to see you inject yourself with HIV or rabies then, your immune system will take care of it as you claim. We can build responses to certain pathogens only by eating minerals from the ground (dirt). I can almost guarantee you there was no Covid-19 in the dirt you ate.

Former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) on Thursday lauded new California measures requiring residents to wear masks outside of their homes, saying that “anyone making it a political issue is an absolute moron who can’t read.”

The measures were released by the state health department Thursday as the state gradually reopens businesses amid the coronavirus pandemic. It calls for residents to wear face coverings when they are inside or in line to enter a public space, in addition to other settings.

“This is 100% the right move,” Schwarzenegger tweeted. “This will help us beat this terrible virus. The science is unanimous - if we all wear masks, we slow down the spread and can reopen safely. It’s not a political issue. Anyone making it a political issue is an absolute moron who can’t read.”
