fatest way to transfer large files?

Any recommendations on transferring large files like 3-4 gb to other people . I tried you send it and a few other but download speed is like 10mbs .Speed of about 50 would be great . Is there maybe a paid site with faster downloads ?
 
This may sound like a joke but it is potentially the best answer. Its cheap and doesn't need special ultrafast services.

Burn a dvdrom and mail it to your correspondent.

But it isn't the fastest. With a slow 70Kbps Uplink, he could transfer a 4GB file in about 12-16 hours using a Bit Torrent Client in Server mode. Get a college campus with a nice OC3, he could effectively multiply that speed by a minimum of 10x meaning 2 hours max.....
