Still the south has given birth to brave people like Rosa Parks who have changed the course of history.

Good question about gays/lesbians and perverts. I lump them all into one basket.

I don't live in the South so I don't know how many klansmen there are
but I have always thought they were a dying breed. The last time
there was a klansmen meeting on the doorsteps of our Capitol of
our state only 6 of them showed up. Thousands showed up to protest them!

So I don't think they are anything to worry about in the Northern USA.

I remember that Duke guy. They would put him on TV. I didn't realize
he was trying to be the govenor of Lousiana. I doubt if the black folk
would of voted him in anyway.

Democrats are the Gay political platform. I don't think they vote Republican.
Foley was obviously a closet Democrat...:p

As far as being scared of gay people.... yep, you are right. I am scared
they will start more plagues like AIDS and kill millions of more innocent people.

This "gay" thing just isn't normal. And to give them marriage rights

I think you are wrong when you think all gays are Democrats. I think it is more to do with who is telling you the truth. Perhaps the gay Democrats know that they are amongst people who won't hate them because of their preferences. However, the repugniklans are hate mongers and cannot tolerate when others are different from them. That is why, in my opinion, many repugniklans who are gay try to hide that fact.

In my mind repugniklans are hypocrital bigots with a strong kleptomanic tendencies.

Republicans are not hate mongers. Most of them just want what
the name of this thread is titled: "Family values", not whatever
"preferences" anyone thinks is okay...

There are some out there who "prefer" little children to have sex with.

There are some out there who "prefer" animals to have sex with.

Should we give them "equal rights" too?

Where do we stop when we give "equal" rights?

After we give those who commit incest "equal" rights?

Being white is normal. Being black is normal. All colors of people
are normal. Marrying the same sex is not normal.

Having sex with the same sex if not normal.

Why do you think Mark Foley resigned? Even he knows it is not normal...

No, I am not gay. However, I do not discriminate against gay people. Sex with animals and children are illegal. However, sex with same sex is not illegal. So, I support equal rights for these people.

You have every right to have opposing views as long as your views do not promote hatred. We were having a debate without becoming too much personal, but you can see other morons like trader1966 have come barging in. I think I will have to stop this now.
