If the story is true, what draws attention is the fact that the bars are real good fakes - not likely to be the work of a small time thief.
 
There was a thread several months ago on ET about similar that said assaying won't find fakes, drilling holes or breaking as the video suggested is the only way.
 
This is very troubling, but like a previous thread here, I guess it does happen. It's now time to track down the smelter who made this gold, then things will start getting interesting.

And on a sidenote, does anyone believe Fort Knox holds any more gold anymore?
