So has Al (or any of his students who only use his methods) have any proof of profitability? Account statements, third-party audited performance, funds they manage, etc.? There's always been an aura around "pure price action trading" here and at other forums, but I've never seen hard evidence it works.
I been on this forum for about 6 years.
I never see anyone post a broker statement of 1 year minimum of trades profit or loss.
I have asked countless trading teachers and trainers (all price action teachers) for broker statement of 1 year minimum of trades profit or loss, documented trades, spreadsheets, anything. How can you be teaching someone something and you do not even trade full time.
They never show me broker statement of 1 year minimum of trades profit or loss, or anything. They claim that is personal, etc or show a few trades. Yet they want my money. They want my energy. They want my time away from family to invest in what they teaching with no proof. Also, if when I follow what they say, and lose, they say go check your mental. Go study for 10,000 more hours, watch the chart. No look, it was head and shoulders and you missed it., etc.
Ever since I adapted the rule of requesting proof from paid trading teachers for my trading business, I have not been scammed out of money in about 4 years and going my own direction. And I told me friend this too, and he hasn't been scammed no more either.
In one year (with hard work and accountability) from now I will be first to post on ET my actual broker statements to prove real edge trading in the market.

So did you find a teacher who gave you proof? Do you mind saying which one(s)? My experience is like yours. I've challenged several "price action only" traders (mostly ones who make big claims on forums, not "gurus" who sell courses) and none gave a shred of proof.
Then you have not been looking deep enough.
