China is such a fucking shithole country when entire residential building districts all have fake fire hydrants and sprinkler systems installed.
Heard somewhere that their President grew up seing the country like this, an absolute mess, thus, extreme policies were implemented.
Sewer oil.
Fake buildings.
Now this.
This kind of thing would not happen in Taiwan where people are broadly kind and conscientious. There are sociopaths everywhere but the are amok in China where money matters more than people even more than the US.
I'm convinced that China wants Taiwan back simply as it shows Han people a better way to be.
