Maybe we just do this. Skip the fairness doctrine and force all radio talk shows to say:
"Listening to Rush Limbaugh (or whoever) may be damaging to your mental health. Studies have been found that rats who listen to right wing hate radio hate other animals of the rodent family."
....or
"The Surgeon General has found that listening to right wing hate radio can be hazardous to your health because it raises blood pressure and kills brain cells that would otherwise be used for critical thinking."
That might be enough of a warning to appease those who want fairness.
