Failin' With Palin

The original post leads one to believe through omission that ID is not taught

Last I heard it was not taught in science classes in Alaska.

- and I'm not sure Dave if troopergate has an "illegal" element as much as just a grieve by the Union.

Really? Because the state Senator investigating it said it was on schedule "before she brought in her attorneys." She has hired private lawyers to represent her in this matter.

And by the way, the report was due out four days before the election -- so please, no complaining that it's an October surprise. She's doing her best to delay the release of the report.

Quote from John_Wensink:

Saturday in Colorado Springs, Colo., Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said, "The fact is that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have gotten too big and too expensive to the taxpayers. The McCain-Palin administration will make them smaller and smarter and more effective for homeowners who need help."

Anything stupid she says about Fannie and Freddie will be forgotten once all the dirt comes out about the Democrats involvement in the blow up.

Barney Frank and Andrew Cuomo are knee deep it in.

This is the Democrats Enron X2.

If you can blame Enron on the Democrats, when Bush personally attended Ken Lay's funeral, then your faith based prediction probably isn't worth a lot.

However, she is on record as not understand how FNMA works. For that matter, she's also on record not knowing what the Vice-president does.

I think it's great he chose Palin......will be the blow that lost him the election. Her views are so beyond insane. Adios McCain.

I've read your posts and I'm not surprised that your head hurts. lol Mine would, too, if I listened to the recently demoted Kieth Olberman as much as you do. rofl

In case you and your uninformed liberal friends hadn't noticed, let me show you why Miss Palin wasn't any more wrong to say the gov't backed the gse's than you morons are for saying they don't.

Straight from the bailout language:
"ambiguities in the GSE Congressional charters, which have been perceived to indicate government support for agency debt and guaranteed MBS. Our nation has tolerated these ambiguities for too long, and as a result GSE debt and MBS are held by central banks and investors throughout the United States and around the world who believe them to be virtually risk-free. Because the U.S. Government created these ambiguities, we have a responsibility to both avert and ultimately address the systemic risk now posed by the scale and breadth of the holdings of GSE debt and MBS."

Maybe you should just go back to laughing when Obama says that Palin is a pig. We'll know what kind of person you are, but at least you won't look so stupid.

"In case you and your uninformed liberal friends hadn't noticed, let me show you why Miss Palin wasn't any more wrong to say the gov't backed the gse's than you morons are for saying they don't."

This line makes no sense. No one is saying the GSE's aren't backed by the government. Her quote shows her lacking of understanding to how the GSE's operate. They don't get their funding from taxpayers and their effectiveness to homeowners? Where are the Jack Kemp's or old school republicans who would want to do away with this middleman.

Quote from Pa(b)st Prime:

"Wooten, 36, admits using a Taser on his stepson...." (who was eleven years old)

EOD that single action will sway public opinion to Palin.

As far as I can tell, Wooten's a jerk. That doesn't make Palin's actions less illegal, and it doesn't mean that she's not a jerk. And frankly, I would recommend that public opinion polls not be used to decide morality or legality.

Help me out here, with all this commotion about Governor Sarah Palin, I forgot: How about Obama, has he chosen a VP candidate yet? :)

Yes, he did. It didn't appear to help or hurt him much in the polls as the candidate was a fairly conservative choice.

McCain chose adventurously and without proper vetting so it's much more interesting.
