Is there anyone in here who actually puts any faith or credibility in any of these analyst ratings?
I ask because, time and time again it's always the same pattern I've noticed. Even with what recently happened with the nasdaq tech-wreck this year. It's always the same story, let's just use Roku/NetFlix/Paypal, etc as an example... all the overly bloated shit in the sinking ARKK fund.
PE goes to the moon to unsustainable levels, while month after month instead of pointing out the fact this may not end well, analysts ONLY give a positive/buy rating. And the more stupidly over-priced, the more they lean on the STRONG buy recommendation. As the stupidity always increases, the goal-posts also move... seemingly nothing at all to do with fundamentals, only due to the market-trend. Seems these analysts get caught up in the euphoria instead of fundamentals.
Then... when reality catches up and we start to fall back towards fundaments... only THEN do you EVER see so much as a HOLD or SELL recommendation.
Let me ask you, if these analysts are so smart, then giving a Buy and Strong Buy for a stock, should be a 10x-100x Strong Buy the next month when it is sold off at a fire-sale discounts.
But instead, these 'analysts' expect you to do the exact opposite just because the sector has turned bearish.
Really?
