The article uses some funny mathematics to arrive at their false conclusion. In fact, they arrive at their conclusion without adjustment to population size which necessarily must be done when comparing percentage of same-race violence against mixed-race violence.
Facts are racist so here's some facts straight from the FBI:
That doesn't add up with the 2018 FBI homicide statistics
https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u....018/tables/expanded-homicide-data-table-6.xls
514 white people were killed by black people, compared 234 black people killed by white people.
Still doesn't add up with 2017
https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u....ges/tables/expanded-homicide-data-table-6.xls
Nearly the same numbers.
https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u....016/tables/expanded-homicide-data-table-3.xls
533 whites were killed by blacks in 2016, compared to 243 blacks killed by whites.
The article, written in 2016 about 2015, is also lying about those statistics:
https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u....f_vicitm_by_race_and_sex_of_offender_2015.xls
500 whites were killed by blacks in 2015, compared to 229 blacks killed by whites.
This would mean whites are nearly 50% more likely to be killed by blacks than the other way around. In other words a
smaller population size has a majority of the mixed-race homicides. Next time use actual statistics instead of partisan news articles. It does make you wonder if US news even understands numbers. There's no spin in these FBI numbers. I'm eager to hear a refutation.
Of course the FBI statistics also show that handguns are used in nearly every homicide and "scary assault weapons" aren't the problem but hey - whatever keeps your journalists employed right? If these
criminals...I mean journalists would tell the truth instead of fan the flames of the false narrative "white racist violence is on the rise" news would be far more boring.
