This is amusing. Anti-vaxxers are claiming that Lauren Boebert's blood clots are caused by the Covid vaccine. Just like all the other instances where anti-vaxxers go nuts and make wild claims about people's medical conditions being caused by vaccines -- especially famous people -- this situation is just another abuse of a public figure. However in her case... she is a right-wing politicians who has made all sorts of wild conspiracy statements about Covid.
Hint: She is not vaccinated.

+111 million individuals in the United States have had a Covid infection at least once.
Every one of these individuals has a higher risk for blood clots than vaccinated people. Those that who are
not vaccinated are susceptible to blot clots if they have other underlying health risk factors.
Only 1/3 of Americans have an underlying health risk factor that they do not know about or do know but are on medication to control it.
Boebert is
not vaccinated but she did have Covid at least once. For her to now have blot clots would imply she has an underlying health risk factor.
How long do these elevated blood clot risks last after a Covid infection?
I've seen research studies that say up to 14 months after infection and others that have said up to 2 years after infection...even a mild infection (barely a cough).
Today, the scary part about Covid infections...
the infections are so mild...most people do not know they have Covid and they're not tested. For these individuals, if they have an underlying health risk factor...
The next 14 months of their life will be at a higher risk for
blot clots,
strokes,
heart attacks, and other diseases that would not have happened had they
not had a Covid infection.
Regardless, the Pandemic is over. It's time for people to move on with their lives including those not vaccinated. We all make health decisions
or do something that put us at high risk for a health problem.
Eat high nutrition foods, stay away from junk foods, high fat foods and exercise. Don't smoke, don't drink and drink lots of water. You'll save a lot of money too.
