Fact Checking Covid-Denier Nonsense

Let's take a look at some anti-vax Covid-denier nonsense which keeps re-circulating on social media despite being obviously false.

Doctor deaths claim an unproven conspiracy

WHAT WAS CLAIMED
More than 80 Canadian doctors have dropped dead after receiving their fourth mandated COVID-19 vaccine.

OUR VERDICT
False. Many died of causes unrelated to the vaccine. There is no evidence to suggest the others died as a result of immunisation.

Of course, we have this gem being spread by anti-vax Covid-denying nutcases. But this is typical of the conspiracy crap they spread when they aren't pushing election denial and Russian propaganda.

German officials dismiss claim that vaccinated drivers will lose licence
Facebook, Twitter and Telegram posts circulating in various languages falsely claim that German authorities have banned vaccinated people from buying or driving a car. The German insurers' federation and the country's biggest motoring association rejected the claims, while the transport ministry said it had not changed legislation for vaccinated drivers and had no plans to do so.

Love those examples. As an NPC, you seek out the craziest of the crazy and give proof that there are kooks on the internet as evidence that Covid "misinformation" is everywhere, while at the very same time ignoring all stuff that is presented about how much of what you professed to be true is actually inherently false and in some cases dangerous.

You cannot blame people for not having any trust when this was pushed:

Since posters on ET seem to enjoy re-posting this meme they found on the internet over and over again... Let's provide some proper context and remind everyone that at the time these statements were made in 2021 they were absolutely true.

The vaccinated breakthrough rate prior to Omicron in December of 2021 was a mere 0.56% which is less than the vaccinated breakthrough rate for measles of over 3% in an environment where the disease is highly prevalent.

It is only when the Omicron variant arrived -- which is vaccine evasive -- did the vaccines become ineffective at stopping transmission & infection with a mere effectiveness of 18% (BA.5) to 36% (BA.1). Noting that "natural immunity" provides zero capability to stop the infection & transmission of Omicron.

Fortunately the vaccines are still very effective at stopping severe Covid illness -- even with Omicron. So get vaccinated and boosted -- the life you save will be your own.

But that's just the thing - almost everything you just posted has been found out to be false. You can scream (bold, colored font) all you like, but more and more people are on to your scam, dude. That's why the White House was lamenting that only 4% of people have gotten the latest booster. No one believes in the horseshit any more. You really should cut your losses, but knowing you - you'll just double down.
