Facebook removed more than 20 million posts for COVID-19 misinformation

my point is what it was original for and the only thing it serves as good for is family and friends.... but it has become a social media platform which people rely on for their news, information, research and political diarrhea. That encapsulates the problem on any political or social issue... the FB lawyers and FB doctors and FB political hacks have taken over real information.

Indeed, my point is just that they have no incentive to return to "The Face Book" days. We have a seven headed hydra of a misinformation platform now, tackle one and the others grow.

Its time to hold the board to account for deaths as its a US corporation who's monopoly seeking position has made this essential. Trying to stop gobbledygook/extremist speech without damaging free and open discourse at times is impossible but it will be even worse in five years.

There will be another pandemic, sooner than most people think.
