No! By the time you realize the PTSD level trauma happened it's too late and you're basically already messed up. That's my point, and I've seen some pretty damn tough dudes completely screwed up by it. Like I said, it's insidious stuff that our culture pushes people into denying until it's too late. And if you've ever seen someone you know impacted by PTSD it's not something we all have in us, any more than comparing clinical depression to the occasional depression we all ocassionally feel.
BTW, I can't help but notice my question remains unanswered? Some things fuck you up without requiring extensive exposure, even if only seen on screen.
