Eye of the Hurricane

Question:

What is the eye of a hurricane?

Answer:

The eye of a hurricane is the center, where it appears calm, as the center is devoid of hurricane mass; but there is still the rest of the hurricane to pass, with even more intense destructive energy, winds and wave action to come from the southeast quadrant (rear) eyewall than that which resulted from the front of the eyewall.
