Extremely profitable trading strategy.

LOOK AT YOU (in caps)??? This site is truly full of idiots. Goodness...

No system is ever for sale, that's what drives the price up!

Sorry we have all seen this act time and time and time again and everyone claims there not selling, if you truely aren't selling, change your tactic to be less, LOOK AT ME!!

... No leverage is employed on any trades.

... live account with Oanda since the beginning of Q3 and am over £2000 pounds in profit.

I wonder if you could try in Q4 adding some small leverage to check the sensitivity of your
trading ( way of trading, and psychology/spirituality of the trader ) to leverage ?
I wonder if this would mean risking £1000 out of the £2000 profits as capital risked to test the effects of leverage.

Hi NoDoji, I really don't have the money to trade maximum leverage.

All joking aside, NoDoji is right - at a 90% win rate, with 100k+ in capital, you should be trading the currency futures and swinging 50-60 cars a clip. You definitely have enough capital.

For the last 5 years I have been developing a trading strategy that has produced the metrics below. The trade are generated on both a demo and live platform.

The results are from the Daily timeframe of the Majors and most used crosses. No leverage is employed on any trades. A 100 pip stop loss and a minimum of 10 pips or over must be gained before the stop loss is moved.

Q1 - 315 trades 293 won = 93.0% profit £132,298.22 Win/Lose 13:1 Profit/Loss 10:1
Q2 - 438 trades 407 won = 92.9% profit £160,665.86 Win/Lose 10:1 Profit/Loss 8:1
Q3 - 73 trades 69 won = 94.5% profit £ 21,297.83 Win/Lose 10:1 Profit/Loss 7:1
(to date)

I have been trading this system on a live account with Oanda since the beginning of Q3 and am over £2000 pounds in profit. However I have another preferred strategy that I use daily.

This trading system can deliver gains in all forex markets but demands of the user, their active attention and engagement with the market not least in the identification of the prevailing price action and the memorising of the indicator based set-ups that enable high probability trading opportunities.

What do you think!
Is your trading system based on conventional technical indicators or something proprietary?

Any system that I've seen with that high of a win percentage has a low Win/Loss ratio.
In other words, the profits are many, but tiny relative to the losses.
It's almost like a fundamental law of auto-trading.
If you have a 60% win rate with a 2:1 win/loss, that's a darn good system...IMHO.

The win/loss ratio is as stated syswizard. This system gives high profits and low losses.

I only tried trading the strategy to prove it works on a live account as there are many system that seem to work on demo accounts but then do not migrate on to live accounts.

However, I could try your suggestion in Q4 and we can see how it fares in your query.
