Extreme Newbie Question (not for the faint of heart)

Where do I find quotes of the Dow Jones futures? What is the symbol?

I'm not going to trade futures, I just want to see the futures direction so I can get an idea of where Dow is headed next day - I'm assuming Dow futures are good indicators of next day's DJIA direction, right?

There is the Dow Index $INDU, and I think this is what they all call "cash index"

Then the big pit traded contract at CBOT (DJ) and then there is the e-mini one traded at eCBOT, (YM).

or maybe DJ is the cash futures index, and YM is the futures.. yeah.. symbols are confusing.

Oh my head. :)

So what time are they traded? And where can I get the quotes?

I'm trying to get an idea of where Dow (the index) is headed the next day.
