Walter, the market is the ultimate embodiment of the universal feminine principle. You cannot predict it, and it can change instantaneously. Besides, I believe in the holographic mind, and since market is mind, physical principles are useless. Note that I didn't say mathematical, I use lots of math shit.
 
Try trading relaxation to the VWAP and/or the open in the last five minutes on a slow day. It makes the chart look so tidy for the next day. No charge. And quit editing your posts. Get it right the first time.

realtime markets with guaranteed fills at visible prices is a myth. esp during high volatility. the ONLY way for this to exist is if the brokerage agrees to eat the slippage for you, but id assume in that case the commissions/spread will have to statistically balance the losses.

edit. never expect a math student to write correctly. esp the first time. i reverse, replace, misplace words and letters all over the place by default.
 
Hmmm. I try to trade before the move when the spread is tight. But IMO it isn't just an issue of volatility, the volume plays a role as well in keeping the spread to a tick. You trading stocks or futures?
 
You probably have Asperger's as well. Me, I got everything in the DSM IV. Makes life a challenge, but I never lack for trading opinions in my head.

Jenning person example Procedural Delusion. Make no difference how market work. Trader need no knowledge how order handle. Is all numbers on screen. Like Vegas, you play odds, let house have vigorish it need keep door open. Simple mind, simple trade, simple profit. Something for everyone. A little for me. Only difference no tit run around and drink not free.
 
The Persistence Delusion: if you just hang in there and keep trying and re-funding your account, eventually you will become a profitable trader.
 
The Nugatory Delusion: the belief that your actions have no impact on the market. If that is so, why does the market always return to your entry position, and beyond, to take out your stops? Because you are not inconsequential. You do your part by entering at the same price as everyone else and placing your stop predictably.
