Exposing one Donald Bright

The seminar is for children. I was sucked in (primarily through having read some great articles by Don in "Stocks and Commodities").

Not only was it a waste of time and money -- more than that I was embarrassed that I actually fell for the marketing trick! I trade mostly Nasdaq and while I'm not at the $1MM level yet -- I'm halfway there.

I too had a several conversations w/ Don prior to attending. I was concerned that the "seminar" would be too basic (like every other trading seminar on the face of the earth). Don assured me that this was a "high level" trading course. I think his exact words were, "Our seminar ain't like the rest!"

All in all, the seminar cost me:

$1,000 for the course
$1,000 expenses
$10,000 lost trading income

Total: $12,000

Life's too short to sulk! It's martooni time!

Ponying up $1,000 for the Bright course
Paying out well over $1,000 in expenses
Tallying up $10,000 in lost trading income

Total: $12,000

Finding out you can get the same information free without having to listen to Don by reading posts in the forum------------

PRICELESS

Here are a couple of funny priceless events on par with the money wasted on the seminar:

Priceless

Please feel free to post your own favorite "priceless" moments.

OPTIONAL,

Priceless:

I don't know you find that stuff but that is some truly funny stuff. All time best laugh I have ever had on ET.

Please, keep it up.

Is that a new , unusual pattern?????????????????????

Magna, Don has actually admitted there could possible be some use for charts.[Three times in 3 or 30 years???]:)

Come on, get the joke right..."at the bottom of the ocean, next to every shipwreck, you'll find a chart"....it knew where it was coming from, but had no idea where it was going....- Ed Franco

We, of course, use charts, and have designed some new proprietary stuff that is really helping our more advanced traders (showcasing in Denver for the TA clubs there).

Things change, so do we.....:-)

OPTIONAL:

agreed!! as you can tell by my post, I'm not all that concerned w/ my blunder (attending the fluffy Bright promotion).

It is, however, very funny that Bright's "mission" is exposing the "Wall Street Hucksters" -- and he's at the top 'o the heap!! Too funny.
