Don't waste your time, keep your pennies and educate yourself. You better off investing in lynda.com and feeding your brain with quality stuff thats affordable. The market will chew your pockets and offer nothing but scars in return.

Very fery few make it in this business, and this is after many years, even then, theres little guarantee.

Learning to trade is a bad trade within itself.

Do yourself a favor and run away from trading and never look back.

I'd rather practice trading because I have a passion for it. Even though 1% make it, somebody does. There's no reason that can't be me.

I have to disagree with you here AT.

Learning to trade "correctly" can be best thing that ever happened to you - providing you have adequate cash and fully understand the importance of only risking a very small % of you cash on any 1 trade.

After that - it becomes just a matter of time!

BTW JL, we are trying to help you, not cut you down!

If you have no "approach" then say so - if you have, then say what it is.

If you are not truthful to yourself at all times, then you best forget about trading, for it is hard enough without twisting your mind some more by trying to fool yourself!

AT, you are entitled to your opinion of course, but it makes more sense to ask the young chap a few questions about what he has done to date exactly, for, some of the youngsters now are cut out for trading with all of their years of playing silly shooting games in front of monitor for hours and hours each day - they can adapt to reading things like DOM and Booktrader much faster than an adult can - however, it is their mental make-up that is their biggest enemy, which goes for every trader, but much more so for youngsters, as they "know it all" by nature of being the age they are!
You do get an odd one here and there that has a bit of "cop on" - and these are the ones that can make more money than you or I would ever dream of - providing if it is explained to them "exactly" what they "need" to do in order to advance and become successful!

Let us be realistic.

Most of them are attracted to trading because they want to make millions, from home, using 1-5k, trading in boxers; and yes most of them consider themselves "Special".
