I see. To me there is really no such thing as professional or retail. They are either Locals or Papers. Locals use technical and Papers use fundamental. They have different strategies, different holding periods, and different profit taking point (if any).
I do agree that being on the right side is necessary. Volume is definitely a good confirmation tool.
