The very first tweets proclaiming the existence of the notorious video went directly to known Ron Paul haters, not to any Ron Paul supporters:

This didn't stop the media from falling for it hook, line and sinker. Given Huntsman's polling numbers just before the video came out and what he got in the primary, this false flag operation probably added 5% to his voter percentage, and no doubt took a similar amount away from Ron Paul.
