I feel like I'm late to the party, but I just realized that IB is no longer tacking an 18 cent per option fee onto my RUT option trades.

I'm posting this, just in case others may have missed the news:

CHICAGO, April 27 (Reuters) - The International Securities Exchange... said on Monday that it plans to eliminate customer transaction fees in all its multiple-listed exchange-traded funds and index options.

Speaking of fees, does anyone here have any experience with IB's bundling unbundled commission schedule?

I place a lot of "Non-Marketable" orders that ADD liquidity and I'm wondering if the rebates would reduce my commissions significantly. I have no idea how to determine this since there's no breakdown of ADD vs SUBTRACT liquidity data available for past trades.

I'd like to figure it out before taking the plunge but I'm lost. Can anyone find me? :)
 
For what it's worth, on 6/23 it appears to me that I paid the 0.18 for RUT transactions.

Someone disabuse me: the 'unbundled' stock pricing at IB is *always* cheaper than the bundled.

I can't speak to the futures as I have not made a study of it.

There is only one option pricing scheme at IB.

If I correctly recall the IB web page that had some pricing examples, there was a scenario where if you "remove liquidity" , the commission was more with unbundled than without. And tho not mentioned, I was referring to the unbundling fees for stocks.
