You can not get Covid if you get vaccinated when the vaccines come out.

Trump and Pence Administration under Operation Warp Speed were the first to say the above. Prior to that, they were the first to say that Covid will be gone by Easter 2020 and they were the first to lockdown the economy in 2020.

Today, the Trump family and Pence family are fully vaccinated and boosted. There has not been anyone in their family that have dropped dead from the Covid vaccination...deal with it.

Reminder, since day 1 of the Pandemic...governments all of the world including the United States have clearly stated that Covid is a new virus (subgroup) of Coronavirus. It's a game changer of a virus. What they know today about Covid-19 will quickly change tomorrow.

• Simply, what they say today may be different than what they say tomorrow because of the way Covid-19 changes and new discoveries about the virus.

Seriously, stop with the childish political bullshit fingerpointing. It's that same bullshit that the United States had one of the worst performances against Covid in 2020 and 2021.

We are now traversing into an Endemic. There are more important issues to deal with like inflation, possible recession, out of control consumer credit, rising cost of living, dramatically rising crime & mass shootings and a surging FLU / RSV.

P.S. FIFA World Cup 2022 is underway...knockout rounds are approaching. Also, there are +90% of the athletes playing in the World Cup are fully vaccinated. What happened to all the misinformation/disinformation videos that vaccinated soccer players are dropping dead ?

Please don't blame your country's poor soccer performance at the World Cup on vaccines.

I'm cheering France, Canada and the United States. Hopefully, one of them will make it the semi-finals or the finals and I'm very confident that they will not have a player drop dead from his Covid vaccination.

Let's remind everyone that at the time these statements were made in 2021 they were absolutely true.

The vaccinated breakthrough rate prior to Omicron in December of 2021 was a mere 0.56% which is less than the vaccinated breakthrough rate for measles of over 3% in an environment where the disease is highly prevalent.

It is only when the Omicron variant arrived -- which is vaccine evasive -- did the vaccines become ineffective at stopping transmission & infection with a mere effectiveness of 18% (BA.5) to 36% (BA.1). Noting that "natural immunity" provides zero capability to stop the infection & transmission of Omicron.

Fortunately the vaccines are still very effective at stopping severe Covid illness -- even with Omicron. So get vaccinated and boosted -- the life you save will be your own.

tbf, it looks as though the jab DID create a temporary immune system boost (mostly through adjuvants, rather than the spike protein) which sent people's immune system into high activity for a few months. This helped to mitigate the jabbed from getting sick, but the downstream cost to the immune system was high. And boosters raised that cost considerably.

I cannot see how anyone calling themselves a trader did an R/R on this garbage and legit felt it was a good position.
I mean - once you enter the position, you can never close it!

Those with a degree in immunology, virology, epidemiology, or infectious disease are required to have taken statistical analysis and physics as part of their college course load.

Mathematical modeling of Pandemics brings together all the science of predicting many things that occurs in a Pandemic including "lives saved" in 400 - 500 level course work.

If you actually work in the field (I don't but I still have close friends that do work in the field for research labs, pharmaceutical companies and university professor)...governments will most likely be doing stability analysis mathematical models to better allocate resources to hospitals.

There will be more Covid Deaths for the unvaccinated if we get another Variant of Concern (VOC) but statistically not likely because after a VOC like Omicron that typically produces mild illness...all new variants of concern after Omicron should be the same or milder in sickness.

At some point, society will become more dependent on over-the-counter Anti-Covid treatments like tablets, liquid, and spray just like we use over-the-counter FLU medicine. Yet, people still die from the FLU. Therefore, even when we reach that point of using over-the-counter Covid medicine...people will still die from Covid especially if they're someone with a co-morbidity.

Forgot to mention that of those individuals that think they are healthy...1/3 of them are not healthy even though they believe they are healthy.

It was a big reason why a lot of Covid Deaths in 2020 occurred in people that had friends and family that stated the person was "healthy" when in fact the person had an underlying medical condition that they didn't know about or thought it was minor (not a big deal).

For example, you'll be surprised at the percentage of people that are overweight in the United States, borderline high pressure, borderline low blood pressure, diabetic, cancer, blot clots, and heart problems. kidney problems, some other undiagnosed diseases...

• They do not know it until they become sick or have a regular scheduled complete physical with blood chemistry tests that discovers the underlying medical condition.

I had myocarditis twice, heart murmurs, and medical allergies in my teenage years. I didn't know it and didn't have any health problems. Essentially, I was a healthy teenager but didn't know I had underlying medical conditions.

They were only discovered in an annual complete physical with blood chemistry work for the rowing team. Now imagine someone having the same in this Pandemic but not on the rowing team, not required to get a complete physical and that believe they are "healthy".

In fact, my Doctor told me I was not suitable for the Pfizer & JJ vaccine because of my medical allergies but suitable only for the Moderna.

Today. someone like me would have problems with Covid or Vaccination had I not seen my Doctor because of the medical allergies as an underlying medical condition.

It's the primary reason why I had my healthy children have blood chemistry work before and after their Covid vaccination plus a complete physical to ensure they were suitable for vaccination...to ensure they had the right vaccine just in case they had medical allergies just like me.

It's the same requirements I did prior to entry into the military after college and after exiting the military to go to grad school although that was a requirement by the military.
