We have this little nugget:

“We excluded events that occurred within the first 14 days after completion of the primary vaccination schedule to allow time for a full immune response to be mounted. For the same reason, the 14-day period after a booster dose was counted as the exposure period after the primary vaccine dose.”


Got it? If you get the shot and it kills you in fourteen days, you don't count because you're immune response to Covid isn't active yet.

BUT... according to VAERS, 90% of reported deaths from the vaccine occur during that time frame. Neat trick, huh?

This study on severe Covid outcomes covered 30 million individuals in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.

First, let's read the conclusion (interpretation) of the study - "Older people, those with multimorbidity, and those with specific underlying health conditions remain at increased risk of COVID-19 hospitalisation and death after the initial vaccine booster and should, therefore, be prioritised for additional boosters, including novel optimised versions, and the increasing array of COVID-19 therapeutics."

Second -- lets' ask what does VAERS which is used in the U.S. have anything to do with a study done in the U.K.? Of course, we should also point out the chart you posted claiming to represent deaths from VAERs is complete bullshiat.

Third, this study is about severe illness and deaths due to Covid -- not severe events due to Covid vaccination. Let's read the opening paragraph with the intent of the study - "Current UK vaccination policy is to offer future COVID-19 booster doses to individuals at high risk of serious illness from COVID-19, but it is still uncertain which groups of the population could benefit most. In response to an urgent request from the UK Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation, we aimed to identify risk factors for severe COVID-19 outcomes (ie, COVID-19-related hospitalisation or death) in individuals who had completed their primary COVID-19 vaccination schedule and had received the first booster vaccine."

Fourth, let's point out that anyone with an IQ over 50 recognizes that the exclusion of events within the 14 days only is in regards to which vaccination or booster category they fall into within the results. They are not excluding that an event or death occurred. Of course, any rational person would have read the entire paragraph with the quote you posted and recognized this.

But, of course, Peter Halligan is a well-known purveyor of anti-vax Covid-denying bullshiat claiming that 20 million people have died from Covid vaccinations. His substack blog is just a reflection of his insanity and total disinformation.

Let's remind everyone that at the time these statements were made in 2021 they were absolutely true.

The vaccinated breakthrough rate prior to Omicron in December of 2021 was a mere 0.56% which is less than the vaccinated breakthrough rate for measles of over 3% in an environment where the disease is highly prevalent.

It is only when the Omicron variant arrived -- which is vaccine evasive -- did the vaccines become ineffective at stopping transmission & infection with a mere effectiveness of 18% (BA.5) to 36% (BA.1). Noting that "natural immunity" provides zero capability to stop the infection & transmission of Omicron.

Fortunately the vaccines are still very effective at stopping severe Covid illness -- even with Omicron. So get vaccinated and boosted -- the life you save will be your own.
