Hi guys,

I am in deep trouble. I'll spare you the details for now.. but basically I mess up my excel spreadsheet, and is now going back with all my statements (I have a couple of brokerage accounts)...to reconstruct it for client presentation

Anyway.. I having a hard time with the date function.. basically I am trying to figure out the number of days between two dates.. I forgot the parameters.. can some one help..

For example, I want to know the number of days between 11/2/2005 and 2/5/2005 using an excel function.

try workdays function to get workdays

otherwise just subtract one date from another to get absolute # of days between the two dates
 
simply count the number of weeks and multiply by 5....tedious, but maybe faster than trying to figure out how to do it automatically.
